Countdown: Activated

It has begun. The countdown to the end. After a grueling year of heart wrenching slams and larger than life egos, the passing of dear friends and history making moments, the National Poetry Slam 2009 is finally upon us.

Unbeknownst to the general public...poets everywhere are sharpening the tips of their jilted pens and slinging their tongues across a thousand battered mics in preparation for the upcoming bat...

I am so excited about the upcoming National Poetry Slam, which will be held in West Palm Beach, Flowrida this upcoming August.  I've been taking a much needed break for the last few weeks and am finally ready to get my stuff together.  Took a trip to Los Angeles to surprise my grandmother for her birthday.  It was great!  We laughed, she cried, we did a little jig and took some pictures!  Yeah, well...back to writing I go!
